Dynamic output-feedback control of continuous-time Lur'e systems using Zames-Falb multipliers by means of an LMI-based algorithm

This paper investigates the problems of stability analysis and control design for continuous-time Lur'e systems with slope bounded nonlinearities. Starting from a condition literature, based on real positivity bound to L1 norm certain transfer function, new sufficient conditions are proposed in an augmented parameter space simultaneous existence stabilizing dynamic output-feedback controller Zames-Falb multiplier certifying closed-loop stability. The matrices realization as well appear affinely conditions, being dealt optimization variables. Furthermore, no line search is required enforce constraint. An iterative algorithm constructed solve problem through semidefinite programming, providing controllers any given order. can take into account both output linear part system nonlinearity. Numerical examples illustrate results.
